For the first time in global merchandise, a unique masterpiece of ancient period is offered in our e shop. It is a called guttus – tintinnabula (drop) and was constructes 2.400 years ago in Manduria (Taranta of Italy) by Mesapians. It was discovered by archeologists in May of 2013 at the same area.
Beside the use of biberon, it was propably used as a toy.
If you can feel all the ancient history of biberon then you could easilly witness the glow of the mother as she stares at the most beautiful child of the world, her’s. The method of construction is the same for 2.400 years.
Our guttus is constructed by the most capable craftsmen of ceramic in the whole world, respecting totally the infance and the maternity love.
Our painter, Eugenia Gerontara used modern colours , combining fantasy and creative freedom, as few informations are saved concerning the construction of feeder bottles
Εugenia tried to breathe new life into antiquity because she believe that we are (umanity) the descendants, not copies of ancient
